SkinDrops is our way of saying thank you. Every time you shop with SkinDrop, you earn points (we call them Skindrops) that you can turn into savings, plus unlock extra perks as you go. It’s free to join, and you’re automatically in from the moment you create an account.
How you earn
For every R4 you spend, you earn 1 Skindrop. Your Skin Drops are added to your account automatically once your order is complete, and you can see your balance any time under My Account → Skindrops & Rewards.
The more you shop with us, the faster you earn. As you move up through the tiers, your earning rate speeds up.
The tiers
Everyone starts at Bronze and moves up based on the total Skin Drops you’ve earned over time. You never lose your status by spending your points, so redeem them whenever you like.

Where everyone begins, automatically, when you create your account.
- Entry: 0 points
- Earn rate: R4 = 1 Skindrop
🥈 Silver — the Skin Devotee
For our regulars keeping up their routine.
- Entry: 2500 Skindrops earned
- Earn rate: 1.2× faster earning
- Birthday reward: 100 bonus Skindrops
🥇 Gold — the Hutton VIP
Our top tier, for clients who love their advanced routines.
- Entry: 7500 Skindrops earned
- Earn rate: 1.5× faster earning
- Welcome gift: a R500 voucher when you first reach Gold
- Birthday reward: a R250 voucher, emailed to you automatically
Staying active
We want your rewards to reflect an active, ongoing relationship, so a couple of gentle rules apply if you take a longer break.
If you haven’t placed an order in 6 months, your earning rate simply returns to the standard R4 = 1 Skindrop while you’re away. The good news: you keep every Skindrop you’ve earned and you keep your tier, and your faster earning switches back on automatically the moment you place your next order.
Birthday rewards (the Silver bonus Drops and the Gold voucher) are also reserved for active members, so they’re sent to customers who have shopped with us in the past 6 months.
Good to know: an order counts as activity once it’s paid and processing (or completed). An order that’s still pending or on hold, for example an EFT that hasn’t cleared yet, won’t count until payment comes through.
Spending your SkinDrops
When you’re ready to redeem, you’ll see the option to apply your Skindrops at checkout, or on your Skindrops & Rewards page. They come off your total as a discount.
500 Skindrops = R50. You choose when to spend them, and you can save them up for a bigger treat or use them as you go.
A few things to know
- Skindrops have no cash value and can’t be exchanged for cash.
- Skindrops cannot be used on promotional items.
- Discounted items earn no Skindrops.
- Your tier is based on the total Skindrops you’ve earned, so redeeming points never moves you down a tier.
- Shipping minimum limit: Your final cart total must still stay at or above R1500 after applying your Skindrops discount if you want to qualify for free shipping.
