Medium Depth Peels

A medium-depth peel penetrates the upper and middle layers of the skin. Here we aim to reach the papillary and upper reticular dermis at a depth of approximately 0.45mm in the skin. This allows us to treat deeper targets – deeper wrinkles, pigmentation and acne.

Our Skin Tech TCA peels can be used on the décolleté, back, forearms and hands to address photodamage, UV spots and general signs of ageing.

The Medium Depth Peels we offer are:

• Is Clinical Prodigy 2 and 3
  • Prodigy 2:
    A combination of resorcinol, lactic acid, salicylic acid, and citric acid to target multiple skin concerns ranging from mild to moderate aging, mild acne and pigment irregularities. These acids are combined with a powerful ‘booster’ which features an advanced form of salicylic acid, enhancing the benefits when compared to other peels. The unique formulation allows for a decreased chance of pigment irregularities and can it can therefore be used on all skin types, including darker skin tones.
  • Prodigy 3:
    A combination of resorcinol, lactic acid, and salicylic acid together with a powerful booster that features an advanced form of salicylic acid, which provides a medium-depth chemical peel, resulting in a brighter and more youthful complexion. This chemical peel works to target skin laxity, acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and uneven skin texture. It can be used on all skin types but is better suited to Fitzpatrick types I, II and III.
• Mesoestetic Pyruvex
  For the treatment of photo-aging (UV damage), fine lines and general skin rejuvenation.
• SkinTech Easy TCA Pain Control Peel
  A combination of Trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and Phenol. This medical grade peel acts on the basal layer or the grenz zone of the dermis. It safely and effectively treats concerns such as UV damage and pigmentation, fine lines, pores and uneven texture.
• Neostrata Retinol Peel
  Vitamin A based chemical peel targeting photodamage, fine lines and skin texture.
• Optiphi 50|30 Peel
  A combination of 50% Glycolic Acid and 30% Ascorbic Acid (vitamin C), together targeting the signs of UV-induced photo-ageing.
• Dermapen Pixel Peel
  The combination of Dermapen 4 Microneedling with a secondary TCA chemical peel. The treatment is designed to allow deeper penetration of TCA into the dermis of the skin. Ideal for fine to deep lines, poor skin texture and photodamage (pigmentation).
• Lamelle Mela Vita peel
  A peel for the treatment of all pigmentation concerns such as UV damage, post-inflammatory pigmentation and melasma.
