At Hutton Medical we offer basic Women’s Health Screens.
These screens include the following:
- Medical history
- Full examination including breast examination
- Pap smear
- Urine dipstix
- Screening recommendations and organization
- Mammograms
- Bone density
- Blood tests
Dr. Tamlyn Maree also inserts all our IUDs (Intra-Uterine Devices) at the Centre.
- Mirena | Kylenna | Ballerine (copper IUD)
- After IUD insertion an ultrasound is arranged with our Sonographer Sally Morris.
- All IUD insertion patients first need a consult with either Dr. Maree or Dr. Hutton to plan insertion date and script the correct device to be brought to the insertion appointment with Dr. Maree.
We do not offer Termination of Pregnancy (TOP) at the Centre, but all our Doctors can assist with assessment and referral of patients to Specialist Centre’s where they will be helped.
Ultrasounds are not included in women’s wellness consults. These are arranged for patients if required with our ultrasonographer Sally Morris.
